The YL Warm Pumpkin Spice™ essential oil blend, is so easy to use in your diffuser. Use as any other essential oil in your diffuser for aroma strength you desire.

When the YL Beauty Glow Serum with full-spectrum CBD launched in January of 2025 I immediately purchased a bottle and used it regularly at night as a serum before my moisturizer.

This serum is enhanced with the exquisite essential oils of Incan Melissa, Ecuadorian Oregano and Ylang Ylang from the YL Ecuador farm known for promoting a clear, healthy-looking glow, as well as reducing the appearance of redness, blemishes, fine lines and wrinkles, and was also enhanced with more “plant power” with the Patents-pending Deep Spectra technology of Lavender Melissa. This technology captures additional key compounds you won’t find with other methods. This extract helps soothe fatigued skin and promotes a more- even-looking skin tone.

Combine all that with a skin care “powerhouse” of full-spectrum 600 mgs of CBD beauty oils, crafted and grown from whole hemp which includes over 150+ biological compounds including Chlorophyll and added to a lightweight carrier oil base of grapeseed, hemp seed, black seed, avocado and coconut oils, which absorbs quickly for a non-greasy finish.

Use: Warm 1 dropper of this oil in clean palms, and then press gently into dry skin on face and neck. Massage in upward motions.

Note: I have found I only need a few drops for my face and neck. Everyone’s skin is different! This can also be added to body lotion to boost hydration and radiance for your body. (Add 1-2 droppers full to your favorite body lotion.)

I got my new YL Brightening Eye Cream last month and have had a few weeks to try it out.  I love that it is a multitasking eye cream that helps you instantly look more awake while minimizing the appearance of dark circles, crow’s feet, and under-eye bags that appear over time. This month was the Young Living Convention, and I attended virtually. There are still many classes and workshops for me to preview but I wanted to be sure and share some of the new products that were introduced as well as some information that Gary Young passed along at previous Conventions.

The theme this year was moving forward in your life and reaching New Heights! With it came the new signature blend appropriately called the Young Living “New Heights” essential oil blend. I am waiting for mine to arrive any day now.

A new YL single called Pinyon Pine is made with the Deep Spectra extraction process, which no one else in the world has. This process was developed to obtain more of the plant’s essence by HK Lin, a long-time YL resident scientist.

For those of you that have been with Young Living for a while will remember the YL 2021 Convention blend of Rise Above to help create an environment where you can transform negative thought into positive and motivating intentions. The YL blend called Wings is also included to push us to new heights and inspire you to spread your wings.

YL Rose oil also known as the Damask rose or rose otto, is in this formula to create a peaceful, loving, and nurturing environment and high frequency for “lift off”!

YL Valor oil is included as well. It is a one-of-a-kind formula and was inspired by historical writings about Roman soldiers who were said to apply plant extracts and botanicals to inspire courage and confidence before going into battle.

YL Royal Hawaiian Sandalwood oil is a product of the Kona Sandalwood Reforestation Project located in Hawaii and is obtained only from dead or dying sandalwood trees in order to preserve the ecological balance and maintain respect for the sacred land. This beautiful oil helps create a tranquil, grounding environment.

YL Ishpingo oil distilled from the flowers of the Ocotea tree in the tropical America’s is also included in this new blend. It has been used in spiritual ceremonies for emotional balancing and calming the mind. This is a very rare oil and somewhat different from the Ocotea oil which is distilled from the bark of the same tree.

YL Incan Melissa oil from the Ecuador farm is included for its calming and uplifting effects, removing emotional blocks and instilling a positive outlook on life.

Conifer oils of YL Northern Lights Black Spruce, Idaho Grand Fir, Lodgepole Pine, and Ponderosa Pine oils are included for their grounding effects and also the power to grow upward and reach new heights.

So there you have it! A very powerful oil blend to add to your day to inspire and lift you!

Did you know that essential oils can offer a natural and effective way to defend against unwanted pests like chiggers, mosquitos and ticks that can make time outdoors uncomfortable and even hazardous! I’m excited to share some easy options without resorting to harsh chemicals to create a protective barrier that helps keep your skin bite-free while supporting your body with the uplifting and grounding benefits of pure botanicals!

Here are several DIY recipes to help you enjoy gardening with more comfort and peace of mind!

Ticks, Mosquitos & Chiggers be gone!

20 drops YL Citronella essential oil

10 drops YL Eucalyptus Globulus essential oil (best variety known for its powerful insect repellent effects)

10 drops YL Lemongrass oil

5 drops YL Basil essential oil

5 drops YL Tea Tree essential oil (known as Melaleuca Alternifolia)

 For a moisturizing mixture to rub on the body: Fill a 4 oz plastic or dark glass flip top bottle nearly full with coconut oil, or V-6 Enhanced Vegetable Oil Complex. Add 1 teaspoon of the above mixture, and shake bottle to blend it all together, and apply as needed

For a spray bottle: fill the bottle with purified water and add 1 teaspoon of the mixture. Shake well to use as a body spray. Note: I also spray my jeans, boots, and hair when insects are bad. 

Quick spray for Insects

20 drops YL Citronella essential oil

20 drops YL Palo Santo essential oil

Add to a 4 oz dark glass spray bottle- fill with purified water, shake and use.

Note: This spray also works well on bedding if in an area or climate where bed bugs exist.

For those that do not have time for mixing, Young Living Insect Repellent and Wipes offer a natural essential oil-infused alternative to traditional bug repellent that effectively prevents mosquito, flea and tick bites.

You can either try out these fun DIY insect repellents using Young Living essential oils or go with the convenience and effectiveness of the Young Living’s Insect Repellent and wipes. Whichever you choose, you will be well protected and enjoying the outdoors in no time!
