6 Easy Tips to Trim Down fast and Look Good in your Bathing Suit for Summer

Yikes! It’s time to make sure you look good in your Bathing Suit. Women especially begin to panic when we think about our winter bodies fitting into our summer bathing suit. Americans put on an average of 5-7 pounds during the winter according to research from John Hopkins University, which not only is bad for the waistline but your health as well.

As summer draws near with warmer weather- getting out and enjoying the beach or lake with friends and family in your bathing suit may be something you choose to do.

Here are some simple tips from our Aromatherapy and Essential Oils that you can start right away for fast results now – to feel slim and trim and comfortable in your bathing suit!

Dewdrop Diffuser1. Get more sleep – Diffuse at Bedtime

The more normal your sleep pattern the better your weight balance. Less than seven hours of sleep per night can reduce and undo the benefits of dieting, according to research published in the Annals of Internal Medicine. .I personally notice my belly bloat going down as soon as I am getting better and deeper sleep. We all have some restless nights when we toss and turn from stress or a busy mind. I have found diffusing an oil in my bedroom a half hour before I go to sleep, creates an energy of calm in the room, and helps me to relax and fall asleep easily.

Young Living’s Lavender oil, Stress Away, or Sacred Mountain create peaceful feelings and are relaxing. Others have shared that they like Young Living Peace and Calming blend. Experiment and see what works best for you.

4. On the run- no time for a snack- try Young Living’s Slique Gum

An amazing product- something to chew on while it staves off hunger. It is known that ancient travelers throughout the Middle East used raw Frankincense resin for its nutritional content and ability to help control hunger, and the Slique Gum offers those benefits in a modern delivery system that helps control food cravings and improves oral health. I like to carry a pack in my purse.

5. Feeling hungry? Drink more water

Many times when you think you are hungry you are actually dehydrated. Fill the void with hydration instead of empty calories.

Don’t like the taste of water? Add a drop or two of your favorite Young Living Vitality essential oils like Lemon, Tangerine, or Citrus Fresh blend.

Did you know that cucumbers are 95.2 percent water? A 5-ounce serving contains 4.8 ounces or 150 ml water. That’s already about 26 percent of your daily water intake through food. This will not only help with hydration, but also helps to protect the skin from aging, and can lower the inflammatory response in our bodies. Watermelon is 92% water and has been wonderful health benefits.

A high water content is one of the reasons that fruits and vegetables help you feel full. The combination of water and fiber means you’re eating a good volume of food without a lot of calories.
